Art Post Dropcity
Hi there! Today I read about Dropcity, a public building that was converted in Milan with facilities for a wide range of artistic and industrial endeavors. It seems like a place where people will be able to go draw, do pottery, architecture, woodworking, metalworking, and have a coffee.

That sounds amazing! What a great investment for the future.
During the day, it will be open to professionals, and during the evenings and weekends, families and non-professionals. I love their definition of a professional: someone who devotes themselves to their field.
It is very realistic. Sometimes the retro definition of a “professional” -someone who receives financial renumeration for their talent- haunts me. I know it is not true for many great artists, unknown artists, artists I know, artists I admire, and for myself. Just because someone never got paid, doesn’t mean they didn’t devote themselves to their artistic field. However they could.
Thank you.
And thank you for reading! Please have an awesome end to the week!
