Art Post Colored Pencils

The other day, I went to the art store. I like going to the art store. It makes me feel like I’m not crazy, knowing other people do art and use and need the same materials as me. I picked up a small set of Microns, 2 mm leads for the lead holders, and colored pencils.

Art stores have such a nice comforting “art store” smell, don't you think?

Recently, I have wanted to be able to apply color quickly. But my routine is too crazy to use wet media like watercolors or inks. And I can’t handle the smell of alcohol markers. So I am going to practice more using colored pencils and see if that sticks.

Wish me luck! The last time I ventured into coloring was my pleasant Ikea marker set, but I hit that copyright issue and that sort of sent me into a downward spiral. Maybe we will revisit that topic someday, but not too soon I don't think, haha.
