Hello!

Today’s recommendation for a Christmas movie is a calm one: Shop Around the Corner, 1940. Wow, before World War II. It is a nice, light, wholesome, rewatchable movie.

It is based on the play Illatszertár by Miklós Lázló. I think the correspondence romance is interesting. Another thing I like about the movie is the character of the old man. Old people today are not the same.

Another thing to share: I cut off all my hair! It is hard for me to find a short hair length that works well with my wavy/curly hair. So, we cut it all off to try and find a length that looks good.
