Hello! Welcome to the second day of my Blogmas!
Today I want to share a cookie recipe, one that uses simple ingredients and is easy to make. I know it as the “Czechoslovakian cookie.” Even a beginner baker like me could easily assemble it.
Instead of using a mixer, I think it's better to use a spoon or your hands, or else it might strain the machine.
I’m not sure where this recipe is originally from, it has been floating in my family for decades. Here is a scanned copy of the original cutout:

I'm not normally a butter cookie person but I find these so delicious!
What is fascinating to me is that this magazine published Mrs. Edward Facer’s address in this recipe. Wow! They just posted her address in the magazine! How things have changed. What a different world it is today.
