Journal 47 Outing, Glasses

Hi girls. Thank you for joining me!

The night after last week’s post, it rained. The next morning, green grass appeared. The first daffodils opened. Over the week, red and orange flowers have appeared on the trees.

This weekend I got out and did some grocery shopping. It sure feels different out there these days. People are so edgy. So many things were out of stock.

For my outing, I acquiesced and put contacts in my eyes after a multiple-month break. The astigmatism never perfectly aligned all day, but it was better than wearing glasses outside. I think if I wear them more often, my eyes will adjust back. I really prefer contacts to glasses. But since they contain PFAS, I don’t know what to do.

Since I have been wearing the glasses so much, my wide head stretched them out, like very pair of glasses I have ever had. It got to the point were they would fall off my head if I looked down. But I found a solution! I stuff a tiny wad of paper towel into the hinges. ... I am officially a dork!
